This month only, I’ve got a special, exclusive offer for readers of this blog and of the TWB Press newsletter. All you have to do is click on the link in the Spring Special – featuring news of my new short story ebook release and a piece on Spring by yours truly – and The Black Book can be yours. For freemans.

The newsletter also announces the release of The Haunting of Annie Nicol: “A grudge is a horrible thing to keep, much less pass down from generation to generation.

Underachiever John Paul Nicol dreams of living in the big house on the hill, but his dead end job and gambling problems make it impossible for him to afford the property, until his father dies and leaves him the estate, turning his dream into a nightmare. Seems there’s an ancestral ghost who doesn’t want anyone to live in that big house, including John Paul, so his three-year-old daughter Annie becomes a pawn in a deadly game of Burn the House Down.”

Here’s some details on The Black Book: “Crotchety Oliver Capstick is a book reviewer who has the power to ruin writers, which he does with callous disregard for the consequences. He works from his home, an old out-of-the-way house, lives with his cat, Milton, and holds only a tenuous connection to one other human being, the Postman who delivers the tomes he’s charged to read and review. One such tome, a black book, which Oliver tosses directly into the trash, is about to force him to review his own life with the same callous disregard for the consequences.”
