To Amazon, where ‘Mr. L’ has submitted a brilliant 5-star review of The Lost Boys of Prometheus City in which he draws comparisons between my writing style and that of Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac. Indeed!

You can buy the book here.

And here’s the review:

There’s a big-ish piece on my novel The Lost Boys of Prometheus City in this week’s Big Issue in the North, talking about my primary influences for the work. Here’s a clipping:

The paperback version of my novel The Lost Boys of Prometheus City was released – rather unconventionally – on Christmas Day, but the ebook version has taken some time to see the light of day. I suppose it’s only fitting it should be available to purchase now, from another Hallmark Day – Valentine’s Day. Anyway, here’s your link-erooney to buy a copy of the Kindle edition of the book.

ajk-word-club3Here’s a couple of pics from my appearance as the HEADLINE ACT at ‘Word Club’ at The Chemic Tavern, Leeds, on Friday 10th February, where I performed a reading from the “bravura” opening chapter of The Lost Boys of Prometheus City.

If you missed it, the book’s available in ebook and paperback formats from Amazon.

And you can read all about the book here.

Four-star, on Amazon:

Jack Whitehall at the First Direct Arena isn’t the only event in town in Leeds on Friday (10th Feb). Nosireebob. For I’ll be participating in the locally-well-renowned Words on Tap/ Word Club night at the Chemic Tavern, compered by Mark Connors. This Friday is ‘Anything Prose’, and I’ll be reading from my novel The Lost Boys of Prometheus City (which you can buy from here). The event kicks off at 7.30, and details of the location can be found here.

The New York Journal of Books have been kind enough to place the cover of my novel, The Lost Boys of Prometheus City, in a pretty prominent position on the Fiction Landing Page of their website. Have a look, here.
